SKF is investing 24 million euros to upgrade its distribution centres across Europe and India. The investments will reduce customer lead times and improve service levels, whilst contributing to reduced stock levels throughout SKF’s logistics chain.
“These investments complement our efforts in modernizing and digitalizing our factories,” says Luc Graux, president of SKF Bearing Operations. “With a more flexible, digitalized manufacturing and logistics base, SKF and its customers will be better able to compete on the market.”
SKF is a leading global supplier of bearings, seals, mechatronics, lubrication systems, and services which include technical support, maintenance and reliability services, engineering consulting and training.
